Here’s why it’s a mixed review
Amidst stunning views and striking architecture, we enjoyed an immaculate room that exceeded expectations. The private plunge pool was a delightful addition for unwinding after long days of exploration!
Dining at the resort felt expensive with food prices reaching unsustainable heights. At times, service was frustratingly slow due to the resort's reliance on shuttles for navigating between amenities.

easy access to beautiful beaches and nature trails nearby
during my stay, I enjoyed the stunning views of the Pitons right from the beach, where I could soak up the sun and take leisurely strolls along the shore, and I also loved having the Gros Piton nature trail just a short drive away, allowing for easy exploration of the area’s natural beauty.

How it stacks up, my honest take
An unforgettable honeymoon! The stunning views of the Pitons, private pool, and attentive butler service made our stay feel truly luxurious. Dining by the beach while enjoying local delicacies was a highlight. We loved the clean, beautifully laid-out rooms that reflected the resort's rich history. Perfect for couples seeking romance and relaxation!

beautiful surroundings but minor service hiccups
The private pool offered a lovely retreat for relaxation, providing us with a perfect spot to unwind from our day. Our butler was incredibly attentive, assisting us with every request and personalizing our experience. Snorkeling right off the beach was magnificent, with vibrant marine life just a few steps away. The manicured gardens created a serene atmosphere outside our room.

The personal touch of our butler, who surprised us with room decorations, and the unique experience of dining underwater made this trip exceptional. It truly enhanced our special moments together during our honeymoon.

Oh boy, the fresh pasta and seafood delights were unforgettable! With each bite, I felt like I was dining in a charming Italian trattoria. Besides the epicurean finds, the private pool was a fab retreat for us, adding a sprinkle of romance for our honeymoon vibes. Plus, our butler's attention to detail made our stay feel like pure luxury, arranging dreamy beach dinners and little surprises.
Now, I wouldn’t say everything was flawless. The dining prices were a wallet-buster, and I felt a little bummed when trying to use my drone—got some epic shots before I hit a snag! Still, the natural beauty and service totally shined through.

Sugar Beach is a fantastic family spot where my two little ones had an incredible time. The staff was eager to help, and we loved the beach activities like snorkeling. The shuttles were quick, making it easy to get around the resort without any hassle.

The location of Viceroy Sugar Beach blew us away, with stunning views of the Pitons right at our doorstep. Our room featured a private pool, creating a cozy spot for relaxation after long days exploring. Having a butler made things extra special, catering to our every need and even surprising us with romantic touches. We enjoyed exceptional snorkeling just steps from the shore, filled with vibrant marine life. However, dining at the resort came with a hefty price tag that quickly added up. We had daily food expenses around $400 to $500, excluding alcohol, which felt excessive. Exploring nearby towns was a breath of fresh air, offering delightful local cuisine at much more reasonable prices. This alternative outside the resort was a much-appreciated balance to the high dining costs. Overall, the resort's ambience was serene, thanks to beautifully manicured gardens surrounding our room. We had the best time but would recommend budgeting for meals outside the resort if you're planning to stay for a while.
